It’s called anthropomorphism - attributing human qualities to nonhuman entities - and we all indulged in it with Covid. Let’s start with Trump. One of the most absorbing aspects of the Covid pandemic was the Trump vs. Covid show. It turns out that viruses, unlike people, can’t be bullied. No matter how hard he tried, Covid implacably went about its business, refusing to be intimidated and paying Trump no mind.

Cheap shots at Trump with the blanket assumption of your readership being 100% Marxist? It doesn't help your credibility, it's not cute, nor is it remotely fair or mature, just the opposite. Biden's anthropomorphizing his domination of this virus on the campaign trail (for the five minutes he poked his head out from his basement to attend his sparsely attended rally or two) has done nothing to stop the spread of this virus but try to take every liberty, small business, and storefront possible. Yes, act like an educated person, never mind a doctor, and defend masks on children, cloth mask mandates, and every other anti-science nonsense you've probably been selling at the behest of your political masters and in spite of what you were taught in medical school and promptly forgot or ignored for social belonging in the NYC middle-school echo-chamber. I've found some of your writing interesting, but when you take Trump shots as weak as many of those none of us liked on his twitter feed, and when the vast majority of the country is telling you differently in poll after poll that the senile imbecile in the White House is worse, you might want to listen and either learn or at least know enough to leave the topic alone or suffer the obvious accusations of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
