Thank you for another great post. It's easy for one to make the mistake of thinking that just running is enough and overlook the other types of exercise that are as critical. Interesting point about agility. Can you comment on what you think the optimal amount of exercise is when one is mildly to moderately sick. There's research showing that it can boost your immune system but on the other hand if you go too strenuous it can work against you.
Love this! Big breakthrough for me, several years ago: 1) lower my target stretching time from some dauntingly high number (eg 20 mins) to 10 mins - so easy to knock this out in two 5-min bursts per day. 2) have a 5x/week workout goal - with 2 off days built into my week I find it much easier to build a habit than trying to do something every day.
One word answer: Yoga until you feel better!

I like it...but, feel much worse about myself right now...
Nooooo - 10 min a day Michael - that's it!

I'm preaching to the converted!
So good. Just read this out loud to my partner before our early morning bike ride.
Thanks Deb!
Great post!
I’m reminded of this old Chinese proverb:
"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."
Love that!
